Located in the Florence K. Murray Courthouse, the Newport County Sheriff's Office serves all of Newport County (City of Newport, Towns of Middletown, Portsmouth, Jamestown, Tiverton, and Little Compton) as well as providing Process Service for Bristol County (Towns of Bristol, Warren, and Barrington). Newport County is home to the Second Division of District Court, Newport Family Court, and two Newport Superior Courtrooms.
