Although there is no Courthouse in Bristol County at this time, the Rhode Island State Sheriff's Department continues to serve the citizens of Bristol, Warren, and Barrington from our offices in Providence and Newport Counties.

All court cases, civil, criminal and family, are heard in Providence County. Bristol County District Court cases are heard in the 6th Division of District Court located in the Garrahy Judicial Complex. Family Court cases are heard in the Providence Family Court, also located in the Garahy Complex. Superior Court cases are heard in the Licht Complex .
